b Remaining memory capacity
This is a popup window that display the remaining
capacity of the unit's internal memory. The popup window
appears only when the disc exchange cache function is
enabled and a disc is being exchanged.
c Recording format
Displays the system frequency at the time of recording, the
video format, and the audio format.
When "CLIP CONTINUOUS" (Clip Continuous Rec
function) sub-item on setup menu item 150 is set to "on",
the "CONT" display flashes, and changes to lit during
recording.
See page 58 for more information about the Clip
Continuous Rec function.

Clip names are displayed according to the setting of
Settings >Display Title in the Disc Menu (see page 70).

this area.
• Digits: 0 to 9
• Alphabetic characters: a to z, A to Z
• The following symbols: !, ", #, $, %, &, ', (, ), *, +, ,
(comma), -, . (period), /, : (colon), ; (semicolon), <, =, >,
?, @, [, ], ^, _, {, |, }, ~
