Showing the ADSL line status of the modem

When using the Web console, you can check the link status by selecting
STATUS/Physical at the status menu.
In the Physical Status screen, Selected Operation Mode shows the current
mode set by your provider's DSLAM. The Physical Link Rate and Error Count
of the modem are also displayed. The DMT-tone at the bottom of the screen
graphically represents each Carrier load (bits/tone) for 256 sub-channels (0~31
for upstream, 40~255 for downstream).

Checking the current configuration of the SMC70032AE

Using the Web console, if you click on the STATUS/Configuration you can see the
current protocol setting status of the modem and, if in router mode, the IP
configuration on the WAN port assigned by the DHCP server.
The IP Configuration displayed at the bottom of the Configuration Status
screen shows the IP address setting assigned by your service provider to the
WAN port if the modem has been set up in router mode.
