2. Set the Ethernet gateway (the IP address of the SMC70032AE modem's
Ethernet interface).
Note: If the Subnet Mask is class C (255.255.255.0, or Hexadecimal
ff:ff:ff:00), the subnet command is not needed.
SMC70032AE> ip device add ethernet ether //edd 192.168.1.1
SMC70032AE> ip subnet add ethernet.home . 192.168.1.1 ff:ff:ff:00
3. Set up the values assigned by your service provider for VPI ("x"), VCI ("y"),
and modem WAN IP address (in this example 202.1.136.2).
SMC70032AE> ip device add ipoa atmpvc //atm 202.1.136.2
SMC70032AE> ip subnet add ipoa.home . 202.1.136.2 ff:ff:ff:00
SMC70032AE>ip relay all
SMC70032AE>ip route add default 0.0.0.0 202.1.136.1 0:0:0:0
(202.1.136.1 is ISP's gateway for WAN)
SMC70032AE> ip ipatm pvc add ipoa atm x/y
(Set pvc values for IPoA service)
SMC70032AE> ip nat add ipoa
SMC70032AE> config save
Saving configuration...Configuration saved.
SMC70032AE> restart
The PCR (Peak Cell Rate) value is 60000 by default but can be assigned
otherwise if you use remote IP. You can change the default value using the
following command:
SMC70032AE> ip ipatm pvc add ipoa atm x/y pcr 50000 remoteip
202.1.136.1
Note: When using this command, the "ip nat add ipoa" entry is no longer
needed.
