Example – Status Parameters for NSF

The show switch command is used to display which unit is the management

unit and which is the backup unit. Global Status Parameters for NSF are

explained as follows:

Administrative

NSF Operational

This field displays the model identifier of the

switch in the stack. Model Identifier is a 32-

character field assigned by the switch

manufacturer to identify the switch.

This field indicates the switch status. Possible

values for this state are: OK, Unsupported,

CodeMismatch, ConfigMismatch, or

This field indicates the detected version of code

on this switch.

Whether nonstop forwarding is

administratively enabled or disabled

Indicates whether NSF is enabled

on the stack.
