III. PICK-UP/FEEDING
SYSTEM
A. Pick-Up Assembly
1. Removing the Pick-Up Roller Unit
1) Remove the lower rear cover.
2) Remove the grip ring
up clutch .
Reference:
When removing the pick-up clutch, pull it off
after matching the cut-off
clutch against the turn stop.

2. Removing the Pick-Up Roller
1) Remove the pick-up roller unit. (See "Removing
the Pick-Up Roller Unit.")
2) Remove the E-ring
and spacer 2 ; then, remove the pick-up roller

Take care not to lose the pins from its front and
rear.
3. Points to Note When Installing the
Pick-Up Roller
Install the pick-up roller
shown in Figure 4-304 is at the rear. (However, the
parallel pin will not fit in the groove.)
