To add a new speed dial number or group dial number to the Phone Book.

Group Dial

Purpose:
To select a group fax number from the Phone Book.
Search PhoneBook
Purpose:
To search the Phone Book for a fax number by name.
Resolution
Purpose:
To specify the scan resolution to improve the output quality.
Values:
Standard* Suitable for documents with normal sized characters.
Fine Suitable for documents containing small characters or thin lines or documents printed using a dot-matrix printer.
Suitable for documents containing extremely fine detail. The Super Fine mode is enabled only if the remote machine also supports the Super
Super Fine
Fine mode. See the notes below.
Photo Suitable for documents containing photographic images.
NOTE: Faxes scanned in the Super Fine mode transmit at the highest resolution supported by the receiving device.
Lighter/Darker
Purpose:
To adjust the density to make the copy lighter or darker than the original.
Values:
Normal* Works well with standard typed or printed documents.
Darker1
Darker2 Works well with light print or faint pencil markings.
Darker3
Lighter3
Lighter2 Works well with dark print.
Lighter1
OnHook
Purpose:
To send or receive faxes manually.
Values:
Off* Does not send or receive faxes manually.
On Sends or receives faxes manually.

Polling Receive

Purpose:
To receive faxes from the remote fax machine when you want to receive it.
