5. Follow the instructions on the screen to begin the update.

When the BIOS update is complete, the NetServer restarts.

6. As the NetServer restarts, note any POST errors and refer to the HP

NetServer LXr 8500 Installation Guide as necessary.

7. Once the BIOS and firm has been updated, and your NetServer starts

successfully, turn off power to the NetServer and disconnect the power

cord. Finish the assembly as instructed in the next chapter.
