6. Raise the processor socket lever to open the socket
7. Place the processor into the socket
posts to align the processor.
CAUTION: Performing these steps in reverse order will cause the processor
socket on the system board to break.

8. Lower the processor socket lever to secure the assembly in the socket, as
shown in Figure 3-30.
