Field Description
Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, or 10-Gigabit Ethernet
interface specifier and VRID
IP address used while in master state; not necessarily
an associated address
State of the VRRP router:
master—Router that forwards packets sent to the
IP address associated with the virtual router.
backup—Router that forwards packets if the current
master router fails. Provides the current master
router's IP address.
init—Router that transitions to either the master
state or backup state depending on the priority
assigned.
Administrative status: enabled or disabled.
Number of seconds that the VRID has been enabled
in non-init state
VRRP advertisement interval in seconds or
milliseconds
