Displaying the Active Packages for a Single Card

Enter the show install active command to verify that the correct packages are active on each card (node).
The following example shows the active packages on a single node (card):
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:router# show install active location 0/1/cpu0
Node 0/1/CPU0 [LC]
Boot Image: /disk0/hfr-os-mbi-1.0.0/lc/mbihfr-lc.vm
Active Packages:

Copying, Adding, and Activating Packages

You can copy a package file to the router, add the package file, and activate the package by using a
separate command for each task or by using a single command for all tasks. The following sections
introduce the file transfer protocols you can use and show the commands to copy, add, and activate
software packages:
