When connecting the IDE cable, be sure to use the correct cable
connector. Using the wrong connector can cause your system to
malfunction and damage the cable.
4-22 Adding Options
On the IDE cable, pick a connector to attach to your IDE device.
Note the location of the blocked hole in the connector.
On the IDE device, locate the gap in the cable port. It looks like a
space with a missing pin.
