the connector inside the bay and press down on the bat-
tery pack to secure the connection.
The large battery bay latch snaps into place.
9. Slide the smaller latch towards the side of the unit to
lock the large battery bay latch.

Recharging the Battery Pack

When battery power gets low, do one of the following to re-
sume operation.

Connect your system to the AC adapter and AC power
to recharge the battery pack. Your system is again ready
for use and the battery recharges during use. The re-
charge time is about the same whether or not the system
is powered on or off (see "Using the AC Adapter").

Save your files, put your system in Suspend mode, and
replace the battery pack with a charged battery pack.
Press the Power button to resume your system.
