The NEC Versa 5000 battery life on a single charge is as
follows.

2 3 hours, with power management enabled

1 hour and 30 to 50 minutes, without power
management.
These estimates are made under the following conditions:

When the battery is new and fully charged.
T
When no peripherals are connected to the NEC Versa.
Your actual operation time on a single battery charge may
vary significantly, depending on the intensity of system
usage.
Extending Battery Life
While on the road, it is important to be aware of the simple
things you can do to extend the life of the system's main
battery. Use the power management features enabled
through Setup to extend battery life. See "Using Power
Management" in Chapter 3 for details.
