E Programmed scan operation
© Select VFO mode.
@ Select the desired operating mode.
¢The operating mode can also be changed while scan-
ning.
@ Set [SQL] open or closed.
«See aoe a left for squelch condition.
@ Select 2, then push [(F-1):(CF4] to start the scan.
° Decimal polit blinks while scanning.
@®When the scan detects a signal, the scan turns
OFF, pauses or ignores it depending on the
resume setting and the squelch condition.
e During scan [TS] can be used only when resume is ON.
© To cancel the scan push [(F-1) ZH].

@ Select memory mode.
@ Close the squelch with [SQL].
@ Select 2, then push [(F-1)=CH] to start the scan.
e Decimal point blinks while scanning.
@ When the scan detects a signal, the scan stops or
pauses depending on the resume setting.
© To cancel the scan push [(F-1) iH].

@ Close the squelch with [SQL].
@ Select = 2, then push [(F-1)=:h] to start the mem-
ory scan.
e Decimal point blinks while scanning.
@ Push [(F-2)E1.] to change the memory scan to
select memory scan.
¢Push [(F-2)=ElL.] for 2 sec. to clear all select memory
channels.
© When the scan detects a signal, the scan stops or
pauses depending on the resume setting.
© To cancel the scan push [(F-1) H].
E Priority watch
© Select VFO mode, then set a frequency.
@ Close the squelch with [SQL].
@ Set the desired memory channel as the watching
channel.
@ Select 3", then push [(F-2)F'F I] to start the watch.
e Decimal point blinks while scanning.
@ When the scan detects a signal, the scan pauses
for 10 sec. or until the signal disappears, depend-
ing on the resume setting.
© To cancel the scan push [(F-2)F F I].
