2 INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
E Power supply connections
Use the optional PS-85 pc Power supPLy when oper-
ating the IC-706MKIl with AC power. Refer to the dia-
gram below for connection.
CAUTION: Before connecting the DC power
cable, check the following important items. Make
sure:
e The [POWER] switch is OFF.
eOutput voltage of the power source is 12-15 V
when you use a non-lcom power supply.
eDC power cable polarity is correct.
Red : positive (+) terminal
Black : negative (-) terminal
