3.3.2. Emergency landing to terrain

Emergency landings are generally carried out in the case of engine failure (i.e. the engine cannot be re-started)
1.
Immediately establish a glide, with airspeed of 100-110 km/h
2.
Autopilot (if has been instaled) - switch "OFF"
3.
Landing area - consider landing direction, ground surface/slope, wind direction/speed, obstructions/hazards.
4.
Direction - preferably into the wind. In hilly terrain to prioritize landing maneuver into the hill.
5.
Magneto A and B switches - switch "OFF"
6.
Landing gear - using depend on landing area character (time for L.G. openning takes approx. 20 sec.)
7.
Flaps – use as needed
8.
Fuel cock - CLOSE
9.
Fuel pump - switch "OFF"
10. Seat belts - fasten and tighten
11. Radio call - report your situation and location
12. Approach - without any steep turns
After landing:
13. Do not taxi
14. Parking brake - use parking brake "ON" (if landing gear has been openned)
15. Transponder (if has been installed) - STB (Stand-By mode)
16. Toggle switches, Avionics - switch "OFF"
17. Master switch - switch "OFF"
18. Emergency Parachute System (if has been installed) - LOCK
19. Exit the ULL aircraft and seek assistance

3.3.3. Precautionary landing with engine power

A precautionary landing is generally carried out in the case of pilot disorientation, lack of daylight, crew health
issues, no fuel reserve, bad weather conditions, or technical problem.
1.
Autopilot (if has been instaled) - switch "OFF"
Alititude loss during 180° turn is aproximately 460ft
Never change selected landing area at last minute.
Watch selected area during landing maneuvre.
