7.3.6. Brakes

Hand brake
The hand brake lever is situated on the pilot's control stick. This brakes are used for stop airplane from low speed and
for securing the ULL aircraft against move.
They cannot be used for permanent braking! It cause brake damage. Control the airplane speed with the throttle
lever! The brakes are activated by pushing the brake lever to yourself.
NOTE: The brakes cannot be used for permanent braking - it could damage the braking mechanism.
Parking brake
The parking brake is part of brake lever body. This brake serve to ensure the ULL aircraft on one place for short time.
If you need to leave the ULL aircraft for longer time period, use a wheel chocks to secure an ULL aircraft against move
and anchor eye under the wings and on the tail tip. For parking brake activation, push brake lever to yourself and push
parking brake button to lock brake lever in activate position.
To deactivate parking brake, push brake lever a little bit to yourself thereby release the parking brake button.
- Do not use the parking brake for a prolonged time. There is a risk of damage to the brakes!
