- Trim – as required to reduce control stick forces
- RWY and area of finals – clear for approach
- Fine-tune the landing approach
FINAL APPROACH
- Descend for landing at a shallow angle with increased engine power
- Airspeed 100-110 km/h
- Flaps - landing position
- Trim – as required to reduce control stick forces
- Brakes - released
- Touchdown into beginning of selected area
Watch selected area during Precautionary landing maneuvre.
AFTER LANDING
- Do not taxi
- Parking brake - use a parking brake "ON"
- Fuel pump - switch "OFF"
- Transponder (if has been installed) - STB (Stand-By mode)
- Toggle switches (avionics, fuel pumps, lights, atc.)- switched "OFF"
- Magneto A and B switches – switch "OFF"
- Master switch - switch "OFF"
- Fuel cock - CLOSE
- Emergency Parachute System (if has been installed) - LOCK
- Exit the ULL aircraft and seek assistance
3.3.4. Belly landing
1.
Land with stopped engine only (Magneto A and B switches – switched "OFF")
2.
Turn the propeller to a suitable position (using the starter) to avoid damaging the prop. blades during landing
3.
Subsequent procedures are the same as normal landing (see Art. 4.13.1)
Consider using flaps according to the landing area surface.
Never change selected landing area at last minute.
