Emergency procedure checklists

3.3.1. Engine failure after Takeoff

Emergency landings are generally carried out in the case of engine failure (i.e. the engine cannot be re-started)
1.
Immediately establish a glide, with airspeed of 100-110 km/h
2.
Flight altitude:
- if altitude less than 150 ft AGL - continue straight ahead and land in RWY direction (possibility to change
direction to 15 ° from RWY axis)
- if altitude more than 150 ft - to land in an open area without hazards or obstructions

Direction - preferably in the RWY direction, preferably into the wind
4.
Flaps -
use as needed
5.
Magneto A and B switches - switch "OFF"
6.
Landing gear - using depend on landing area character (time for L.G. openning takes approx. 20 sec.)
7.
Fuel cock - CLOSE
After landing:

Do not taxi
9.
Parking brake - "ON" (if landing gear has been openned)
10. Fuel pump - switch "OFF"
11. Transponder (if has been installed) - STB (Stand-By mode)
12. Toggle switches, Avionics - switch "OFF"
13. Master switch - switch "OFF"
14. Emergency Parachute System (if has been installed) - LOCK
15. Exit the ULL aircraft and seek assistance

Alititude loss during 180° turn is aproximately 460ft
Never change selected landing area at last minute.
Watch selected area during landing maneuvre.
