RS-232 Connections
The transmission protocol is 8 data bits, 1 start bit, and no parity.
Eight different speeds can be used (baud/sec): 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.
Note
In order to connect certain external devices, you may be required to use a specific speed (baud rate). For
example, connecting an American Dynamics ADTT16E Touch Tracker to the EDVR requires a setting of 9600
baud. Also refer to the following appendix.
