5.10.9. Using A Memory Card
The stimulator is supplied with a memory card to allow exporting of files. Only
a compatible memory card should be used (see "8.1 Technical Specifications" on
page 92.
i. Export
• If necessary, insert the memory card into the socket on the side of the UI (see
page 7).
• To export a file; from the 'File Maintenance' screen, press the 'Local Store' panel
and use the control dial to select a file.
• Press 'Export'
Progress'.
• If the message 'a file is currently open' is displayed, press 'Close'
open file and retry the export.
• When the file has been exported, the file will appear in the 'Memory Card' store
panel.
Note: File names will be reduced to 8 characters when exporting. If imported
back into local storage the file name will revert back to the original.
All exported files will have the file extension 'MRF.' This can be opened with a
standard text editor.
ii. Import
• To import a file; from the 'File Maintenance' screen, press the 'Memory Card'
store panel and use the control dial to select a file
• Press 'Import'
• When the file has been imported, the file will appear in the 'Local Store' panel.
ii. Deleting from the memory card
The UI cannot format, create directories or delete any data stored on a memory
card. In order to remove files from the memory card, an external device (i.e. a
PC) must be used.
