• Carefully remove the coil connector from the mainframe whilst keeping the
coil connector parallel and holding the mainframe steady.
• Safely store the D70 MT Coil connector whilst not in use.
• With the AirFilm
corresponding receiver on the coil socket
• With these points aligned, Firmly insert the coil connector into the coil socket,
ensuring to keep the coil connector parallel
• Rotate the outer collar of the coil connector clockwise to secure the connector.
4.3.3. Positioning The AirFilm
Treatment
• Locate the recess in the centre of the underside
of the AirFilm
®
• Holding the coil with one hard, release the coil
arm central locking knob (clockwise).
• Bring the coil down onto the patient's head
so that the centre recess sits on the patient's
treatment site and tighten the central locking
knob to secure the position.
• If necessary, loosen the coil arm lever to refine
the coil angle.
• The coil needs to be at 45° angle to the mid-line
of the head

curvature of the head
• Tighten the lever to secure the coil angle.
Note: The coil must remain is contact with the patient's head throughout the
treatment. If necessary, the treatment location and coil angle may be adjusted to
alleviate patient discomfort. See "4.4 Patient Discomfort" on page 58..
