3.3 Positioning The Cart Mounted Coil Arm

3.3.1. Treatment positioning
In the treatment position, the coil is positioned towards the chair.
The arm between the Stimulator and the central locking knob must be kept
horizontal (Figure
• Hold the AirFilm
hand.
• Loosen the central locking knob and
position the coil so that the centre recess
on the underside of the coil sits on the
treatment site.
• Re-tighten the central locking knob to
secure the position.
• If required, unlock the lever (anti-clockwise) to fine tune the coil angle and re-
lock the lever (clockwise) to secure the angle.
• Lift the UI screen up from its base and pull the bottom of the screen towards
you until secure.
Note: The central locking knob must be secured unless the coil/arm is being
repositioned. The ball joint cut-outs should be positioned upwards to allow the
full range of movement.
3.3.2. Storage position
The system should be placed in the storage position
when not in use:
• Push the bottom of the UI screen in and flip the
screen down, towards the base.
• Hold the AirFilm
• Loosen the central locking knob and fold the arm
horizontally (Figure
• Ensure the coil is positioned close to the cart but
not touching the UI.
• Re-tighten the central locking knob to secure the
coil and arm.
Note: ensure that the coil does not come into contact with the UI.
