3.3.3. Moving The Cart Mounted Coil Arm
Two Coil Arm Clamps are provided to allow the coil
arm to be mounted on the left or right depending on
user preference.
i. Removing the arm
• Unlock the articulated arm, position the arm folded
vertically (Figure

• Unlock the Coil Arm Clamp knob (anti-clockwise)
(Figure 3.7).
• Using two hands to securely grip the whole arm, pull
the arm straight up and out of the Coil Arm Clamp.
ii. Re-mounting the arm
• Align the coil arm with the Coil Arm Clamp where
you wish to position the arm, aligning the flat side of
the arm extension toward the stimulator.
• Insert the coil arm into the clamp fully and tighten
the Coil Arm Clamp knob (clockwise) to secure the
arm,
• Unlock the articulated arm central locking knob,
return the arm to the horizontal folded position
(Figure 3.8) and re-lock the central locking knob to
secure the position.
Important: Do not leave the arm in a vertical folded
position.
iii. Adjusting the arm height
• Unlock the articulated arm, position the arm folded vertically
re-lock the central locking knob.
• Unlock the Coil Arm Clamp knob (anti-clockwise)
• Using two hands to securely grip the whole arm, pull the arm straight up to
your desired height. Ensuring sufficient length is left in the clamp to secure the
arm extension.
• Hold the arm with one hand to allow you to tighten the Coil Arm Clamp knob
(clockwise) to secure the arm,
• Unlock the articulated arm central locking knob, return the arm to the horizontal
folded position and re-lock the central locking knob to secure the position.
Important: Do not leave the arm in a vertical folded position.
