MCIO NVMe Connectors
The MCIO NVMe connectors, located at P1-PCIE1A/1B/2A/2B/3A/3B/4A/4B/5A/5B and
P2-PCIE1A/1B/2A/2B/3A/3B/4A/4B/5A/5B, provide twenty PCIe 5.0 x8 connections on the
motherboard. P1-PCIE1A/1B/2A/2B/3A/3B/4A/4B/5A/5B connections are supported by CPU1.
P2-PCIE1A/1B/2A/2B/3A/3B/4A/4B/5A/5B connections are supported by CPU2. Use these
MCIO connectors to support high-speed PCIe storage devices.
Note: When installing an NVMe device on a motherboard, please be sure to connect
the first NVMe ports (P1-PCIE1A and P2-PCIE1A) first for your system to work properly.
