Access to all of the T1 access unit's tasks begins at the Main Menu screen, which
has four menus or branches.

Status
View diagnostic tests, voice interfaces, cross connections,
statistics, and T1 access unit identity information.
Test
Select, monitor, and cancel test for the system's interfaces.
Configuration
Display and edit the configuration options.
Control
Control the user interface for call setup, device naming, date
and time, login administration, and system alarm relay cut-off
(for the 5-slot housing). Also, initiate a power-on reset of the
system.
Three types of screen fields are available on the async terminal.

What appears on the screens depends on:
Current configuration – How your T1 access unit is currently configured.
Security access level – The security level set by the system administrator
for each user.
Data selection criteria – What you entered in previous fields or screens.
