Chapter 6: Matrox Corona hardware reference
Performance
Setting up the grab
section
The non-standard timings supported (including those for
progressive scan) are:
Number of pixels per line
(including sync and
blanking)
Number of lines per frame
(including sync and
blanking)
Sampling rate
Sampling rate (with
external clock input)
Sampling rate
(line-locking mode)
Line duration (analog
input)
Digital acquisition is subject to the same restrictions except for
the line rate which is unlimited. If an external pixel clock signal
is provided by the video source, the number of valid pixels per
line and the number of valid lines per frame are 65536 and no
longer limited to 4096.
To program the acquisition section, allocate it (using MIL-Lite
MdigAlloc()) with an appropriate DCF (supplied or created). If
required, you can make minor adjustments to common
acquisition parameters at run time (using MIL-Lite Mdig...()
commands). For more specialized adjustments, use the Matrox
Intellicam program to adjust the DCF file.
