4. Before you install your board, ensure that the DIP switches
are set properly. The default settings are as follows:
5. Lower the board gently into the slot, sliding the PCI board
retainer between the guides (see figure).
6. Once the board is perfectly aligned, press the board firmly
but carefully into the slot.
7. Anchor the board by replacing the screw that you removed.
8. If required, install the companion digital-input board. For
details, see the Installing the companion digital-input
board section.
9. Replace the cover of your computer.
