3. Install the actual board in either an ISA or PCI slot,
following the procedure detailed for a Matrox Corona board.
Note that the board is factory-assembled to be used in an
ISA slot (attached to an AT bracket). To install the
companion digital-input board in a PCI slot, replace the
"AT" marked bracket on the board with the "PCI" marked
bracket included with the board (the board will appear
"upside-down" when compared to the ISA position).
4. Carefully attach the backplane (connected to the ribbon
cable) to Matrox Corona's 70-pin digital interface backplane
connector. Take care not to crimp or inhibit the ribbon cable.
A board installed in an ISA slot should look like this:
