4.8 ELECTRICS (Electrical connections)
Preliminary safety information
The electrical connection must be made according to the wiring diagram attached to the unit and
in compliance with local and international regulations.
Make sure that the power supply line of the unit is sectioned upstream of it.
Make sure that the disconnecting device is padlocked or that a dedicated warning sign is applied
to the operating handle.
Check that the power supply corresponds to the nominal data of the machine (voltage, phases,
frequency) shown on the wiring diagram and on the plate applied to the unit.
The power cables must be protected upstream against the effects of short circuits and overload by
a suitable device complying with the standards and laws in force.
The section of the cables must be suitable for the calibration of the protection system upstream
and must take into account all the factors that could influence it (temperature, type of insulation,
length, etc.)
The power supply must comply with the stated limits: otherwise the warranty will be immediately
voided.
Performed all the ground connections required by the regulations and legislation in force.
