Check the status lights to see if a jam has occurred. If so, LED 1 (red) will be off;
LED 2 (green) will blink on, off, on, off repeatedly. In this case, remove the
source cassette from which the jam has occurred.

Check to see if the media was loaded correctly and if it is the right type of
media. Then, remove the loaded media.
Do not reload the removed media. Curling of reused media may cause jams.

Remove the cassette cover and check to be sure the side and end guide positions
match.
4.
Reload the cassette with fresh media that meets the specifications in chapter 6.
Then, slide the cassette back into the printer until it snaps in place.

Repacking the Printer

This section covers repacking the printer for shipment.
Damage resulting from incorrect packing voids your printer warranty. To keep the
warranty valid, you must follow the packing procedure in this document.
Before You Begin
The printer should be repacked in its original packing and shipping materials. If you
no longer have part or all of these materials, contact either XANTÉ Customer Support
at 800-926-8393 (US or Canada) or at 251-473-6502 (elsewhere) or contact your
XANTÉ vendor to order replacements.
Before returning the printer for service, you must obtain an RGA (Return Goods
Authorization) number from XANTÉ.
Repacking
When repacking the printer for a service return, do not include the following items:
• Documentation and Software
• Paper Cassette Feeder(s)
(if applicable)
These items are to be stored according to the guidelines in your printer user's guide or
returned to their original packaging.
