cargo may slide forward and cause
injury or damage during sudden stops.
3. Insert the seat belt into the storage
holder and insert the buckle into the
storage area inside the seat to pre -
vent interference between the 3-point
seat belt on either side and the loaded
cargo when folded.
For 7 seats, tidy up the center seat
belts of the 2nd row seats so that they
are not twisted.
4. Pull the 2nd row seat angle adjust -
ment lever to fully fold the seatback
forward.
5. After folding the seatback, release the
adjustment lever to secure it. Make
sure the seatback is securely fas -
tened.
6. When returning to the original posi -
tion, raise the seatback while pulling
the 2nd row seatback angle adjust -
ment lever. After adjusting the seat -
back to the desired angle, release the
lever to lock it in place.

僅 Press the 2nd row seat folding
switch(1, 2) located on the right side in
the luggage compartment.
僅 When returning to the original posi -
tion, raise the backrest while pulling
the second row seat angle adjustment

lever. After adjusting the backrest to
the desired angle, release the lever to
lock it in place.
WARNING
僅 Always operate with the vehicle sta -
tionary when folding or unfolding the
seat. Do not adjust the seat while driv -
ing.
僅 Make sure there are occupants in the
seat before folding the seat. Do not
fold the seat when there are pets, lug -
gage, or people in the seat, or when
passengers are disembarking. The
seat may suddenly move and cause
injury.
僅 Be careful not to get your hands or
feet caught when operating the seat.
CAUTION
僅 Always be careful not to damage the
seat belt when folding or unfolding
the seat.
僅 After returning the seat, rock it back
and forth to see if it is secure, and put
the headrest and seat belt back in
their original position before use.
僅 After erecting the seatback, check
that the backrest is securely fastened.
WARNING
Uprighting seat
When you return the seatback to its
upright position, hold the seatback and
return it slowly. If the seatback is
returned without holding it, the back of
the seat could spring forward, resulting
in injury caused by being struck by the
seatback.
