Features of your vehicle
- Once the smart key is detected, you
can start the vehicle (READY indi -
cator ON).
- The indicator light goes off after
starting the vehicle (READY indica -
tor ON).
This indicator light blinks for a
few seconds:
僅 When the smart key is not in the vehi -
cle.
- You cannot start the vehicle.
This indicator light appears for 2
seconds and goes off:
僅 If the smart key is in the vehicle and
the EV button is ON, but the vehicle
cannot detect the smart key.
Have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized Kia dealer.
This indicator light blinks:
僅 When the battery of the smart key is
weak.
僅 When there is a malfunction with the
immobilizer system.
Have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized Kia dealer.
Turn signal indicator light
This indicator light blinks:
僅 When you turn the turn signal light on.
If any of the following occurs, there may
a malfunction with the turn signal sys -
tem.
Have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized Kia dealer.
僅 The indicator light appears but does
not blink.
僅 The indicator light blinks more rapidly.

Low beam indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the headlights are on.
High beam indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the headlights are on and in the
high beam position.
僅 When the turn signal switch is pulled
into the Flash-to-Pass position.
High Beam Assist indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When High Beam Assist is activated.

Light ON indicator light
This indicator light appears:
僅 When the taillights or headlights are
on.
