What to do in an emergency
This instruction shows you step by step
procedures to temporarily seal the punc -
ture.
Read the section "Notes on the safe use
of the Tire Mobility Kit" below.
Notes on the safe use of the Tire
Mobility Kit
僅 Park your car on the side of the road
so that you can use the TMK away
from moving traffic.
僅 Be sure your vehicle cannot move.
Even when on fairly level ground,
always set the parking brake.
僅 Only use inflating TMK for sealing/
inflating vehicle tires. Only punctured
areas located within the tread region
of the tire can be sealed using the
TMK.
僅 Do not use on motorcycles, bicycles or
any other type of tires.
僅 When the tire and wheel are dam -
aged, do not use TMK for your safety.
僅 TMK may not be effective for tire
damage larger than approximately
0.16 inches (4 mm).
Please contact the nearest Kia dealer -
ship if the tire cannot be made road -
worthy with the Tire Mobility Kit.
僅 Do not use the TMK if a tire is severely
damaged by driving with flat tires or
with insufficient air pressure.
僅 Do not remove any foreign objects
such as nails or screws that have pen -
etrated the tire.
僅 If the vehicle is outdoors, leave the
vehicle ON (READY indicator ON).
Otherwise operating the compressor
may eventually drain the car battery.
僅 Never leave the TMK unattended
while it is being used.

If you have a flat tire (with Tire Mobility Kit)
僅 Do not leave the compressor running
for more than 10 minutes at a time or
it may overheat.
僅 Do not use the TMK if the ambient
temperature is below -22 °F (-30 °C).
CAUTION
When done using a flat tire with the
TMK, quickly remove the sealant from
the tire pressure sensor and wheel.
When installing the repaired tire and
wheel, tighten the wheel nut to a torque
value of 79~94 lbf・ft (11~13 kgf・m).
WARNING
Sealant
僅 Keep out of the reach of children.
僅 Avoid contact with eyes.
僅 Do not swallow.
WARNING
Do not use the tire sealant if it is past the
expiration date on the sealant con -
tainer). This can increase the risk of tire
failure.
WARNING
僅 If sealant gets on your skin, wash it
with a lot of water. If skin irritation
continues, visit a doctor.
僅 If sealant gets in your eyes, lift up
your eyelid and wash for at least 15
minutes. If eye irritation continues,
visit a doctor.
僅 If sealant is swallowed, wash the
mouth and drink a lot of water. How -
ever, do not give anything to an
unconscious person and see a doctor
immediately.
