WARNING
Touching Metal Parts
Do not touch metal parts (including strut
bars) while the vehicle is operating or
hot. Doing so could result in serious
bodily injury. Turn the vehicle off and
wait until the metal parts cool down to
perform maintenance work on the vehi -
cle.

Owner maintenance

The following lists are vehicle checks
and inspections that should be per -
formed by the owner or an authorized
Kia dealer at the frequencies indicated
to help ensure safe, dependable opera -
tion of your vehicle.
Any adverse conditions should be
brought to the attention of your dealer
as soon as possible.
These Owner Maintenance Checks are
generally not covered by warranties, and
you may be charged for labor, parts and
lubricants used.
When you stop for charge
僅 Check the coolant level in coolant res -
ervoir.
僅 Check the windshield washer fluid
level.
WARNING
Be careful when checking your coolant
level when the motor compartment is
hot. This may result in coolant being
blown out of the opening and cause seri -
ous burns and other injuries.
