Cleaning

NOTICE
Cleaning with compressed air
Material damage due to metal chips in the thread and slots.
» Do not use compressed air to clean clamping devices.
» Use brushes, swarf vacuum cleaners or swarf hooks.
» Wear safety glasses.
Do not use chemical, alcohol-based, abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. Use a cleaning cloth to clean the centring vice.

Disposal

Comply with the national and regional environmental protection and disposal regulations for correct disposal or recycling.
Segregate items into metals, non-metals, composite materials and consumables and dispose of them responsibly. Re-use is
preferable to disposal. Contact Hoffmann Group Customer Services.

10. Storage

When putting away the centring vice, take care not to damage the base body or projecting components. Place the centring
vice on an underlay of wood, rubber or plastic. Before prolonged storage, thoroughly clean the centring vice and apply pre-
servative to it (see Grease the spindle [} Page 23] and Grease the guides [} Page 24]) and protect it with a cover against dust
and coarse dirt.

Use only original replacement parts and wearing parts.
