Suspended loads
During lifting and transport of the clamping device there is a risk of accidents which may be fatal or cause crush injuries due
to components or items of equipment falling or swinging uncontrollably.
» When items are being lifted, transported and put down, do not walk under or reach under suspended loads.
» Check that lifting gear is securely attached. Do not attach lifting gear to projecting components.
» Use only approved hoists and lifting gear rated for a sufficient safe working load.
» Transport work may be performed only by persons who have been instructed in the safety aspects of hoists and trans-
port work.

Installation

4.1.

ON THE MACHINE TABLE

4 × stepless adjustable clamps (No. 363081 80), cleaning cloth.

1. Clean the machine table and the underside of the centring vice.
2. Position the centring vice on the machine table.
3. Fit the stepless adjustable clamps and bolt them to the machine table with an appropriate attachment set.

Hexagon L-wrenches sizes 6 and 8, adapter plate (No. 363080) for GARANT ZeroClamp, clamping stud (select a suit-
able stud for the clamping pot), cleaning cloth
