Operation

WARNING
Risk of file breakage due to fatigue fracture
The patient could inhale broken files and choke.
➢ To prevent fatigue fracture as much as possible, use only fully
intact, undamaged files.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
Never pull the patient's cheek back with the contra-angle handpiece!
The push button could be activated, with the risk of burning the
patient's oral mucosa.
CAUTION
Burning hazard at push button!
Press the button only when the contra-angle handpiece is stopped.
WARNING
Hot motor!
If the motor overheats under high load, let it cool off by idling at half
speed before continuing treatment.
WARNING
Improperly selected speeds and torque values endanger the patient!
Treatment errors can result from incorrect settings. Follow the
recommendations of the file manufacturer.

Changing handpiece sleeve

WARNING
Risk of injury!
The handpiece sleeve should be attached or removed only when the
motor is at standstill.
Attaching handpiece sleeve
ü The motor is at a standstill.
➢ Attach the handpiece sleeve to the handpiece.
Ä The handpiece sleeve is flush with the motor.
