7.10.1

Adjusting the brightness

The brightness of the LED is continuously adjustable.
To adjust the LED, move the slider in the Settings/General settings
menu to the desired position.
To switch off the LED, move the slider to the far left position.
If a contra-angle handpiece is attached to the handpiece while setting,
the current LED brightness can be checked directly.

LED functionality

If the LED is not switched off, the following functions are available:
● LED is lit while motor is running
● LED remains lit
● LED is lit without the motor running
LED is lit while motor is running
When the motor is started, the LED is also automatically switched on.
LED remains lit
After the motor is stopped, the LED remains lit for 5 seconds.
LED is lit without the motor running
The LED can also be switched on without starting the motor at the same
time. There is a difference whether the finger switch or the foot control
is used.
● Finger switch: to enable it to light up without starting the motor, the
finger switch must be pressed longer than 1 second.
● Foot control: to enable it to light up without starting the motor, the
foot control must be pressed lightly, not all the way down.
The LED is lit as long as the finger switch / foot control is held and then
remains lit for 5 seconds.
