Attaching and removing a file

CAUTION
Burning hazard at push button!
Press the button only when the contra-angle handpiece is stopped.
WARNING
Risk of file breakage due to fatigue fracture
The patient could inhale broken files and choke.
➢ To prevent fatigue fracture as much as possible, use only fully
intact, undamaged files.
IMPORTANT
Check the push button to make sure it moves freely.
IMPORTANT
For safety, check the clamping system of contra-angle handpieces
before every use.
Attaching a file
ü The motor is at a standstill.
1. Insert the file by gently rotating it until it snaps into place. In doing
so, do not press the pushbutton.
2. Then pull and turn the file to check that it is firmly seated.
Removing a file
ü The file has come to a stop.
➢ Press the push button and detach the file.

Manage "My file sequences"

Dialog under "Settings" > "Customize File Library" > "My Sequences".
7.4.1

Adding files from "Systems/sequences"

Add existing files from "Systems" and "Sequences" to the "My
Sequences" dialog.
Files / file sequences can be added only in the "My Sequences" dialog.
Adding file(s) from "Systems"
ü The "Systems [→ 38]" dialog is open.
1. Select the desired file or files from the file systems.
Procedure:
- Select an entire file system
and/or
- one or more file(s) from one or more file systems.
Ä The selection is marked with the "blue circle with plus symbol".
2. Press "Add To My Sequences".
