9.5.1

DHCP:XX / BOOTP:XX

Function • DHCP : Automatically acquires an IP address from the DHCP server, if there is one
• BOOTP : Automatically acquires an IP address from BOOTP and specifies whether

Function • Sets the subnet mask of the printer used on the network.
Use • To enter the printer's subnet mask.
Setting • Enter the subnet mask using the
/procedure • The default setting is 255.255.255.0.

• Before manually setting the subnet mask, turn OFF DHCP and BOOTP in the
[NETWORK] → [DHCP:XX/BOOTP:XX] menu.

GATEWAY

Function • Sets the gateway address of the printer used on the network.
Use • To enter the printer's gateway address.
Setting/ • Enter the gateway address using the
procedure • The default setting is 192.168.1.1.
