Step
Turn OFF the power switch, wait for 10 sec. or

more, and turn ON the power switch.
Check the USB cable for proper connection and

correct as necessary.
Check the IPB connector for proper connection

and correct as necessary.
Check the PRCB connector for proper connec-
4
tion and correct as necessary.
5 Change IPB.
6 Change PRCB.
• A communication error of some sort has occurred in the USB inter-
face.
• A controller ROM error has been detected.
• An SDRAM read or write error has been detected.
• Writing to the parameter chip has failed.
• Data decompression has failed due to an error in print data.
• A connection is made to an unsupported engine controller.
• An error has occurred in the IDC sensor.
• A control error has been detected in the printer.
• There is an abnormal condition at N4DBE (DBE: Dual Beam Embed-
ded) on the image processing board.
• It failed to write data while transferring printed data.
• Communication error with the printed data.
