14 ANALYSIS AND FUNCTIONS ON THE POWER SUPPLY
NETWORK
The application includes functions that take into account the electric power supply networks to which the units are connected.
In specific, the application can:
acquire the electrical data of the power supply networks to which the unit is connected through one or two network
analysers:
check the connection of the power supplies and the correct phase sequence of the power supply network.

14.1 Network analyser

Up to two Gavazzi CPT-DIN.AV5.3.H.S1.AX network analysers can be used to measure the main electrical variables.
The converters are connected to the controller via the Fieldbus port 2 (with RS485 cable) using the Modbus protocol.
The communication parameters are:
Baud rate 19200;
no parity;
8 data bits;
1 stop bit.
Communication with the transducer and the system type (single-phase, three-phase), and the transformation ratio of the current
transformers connected between the power supply and the transducers, can be set in the "Optional" menu, which can be
accessed by entering the"Service" password.
Once configured, the masks for displaying the electrical measurements made are enabled in the main menu.
The displayed variables are:
phase to phase voltage, only on three–phase units;
phase voltage (phase–neutral);
phase current;
neutral current only on three–phase units;
active phase power, only on three–phase units;
total active power;
active energy;
hour counts.
The power counters and the hour counter are reset from the "Manual" menu, which can be accessed by entering the "Service"
password.
If the transducers do not communicate with the controller due to a broken cable or communication errors, the corresponding
offline notifications appear (Automatic reset).
