CARD EDGE CONTROLS

The 7714HDC module is equipped with an 8 position DIP switch to allow the user to select various
functions. All positions are assigned sequentially such that DIP switch 1 is located at the top of the DIP
switch (farthest from the card ejector). Table 5-1 gives an overview of the DIP switch functions. Sections
5.1 to 5.2 describe the DIP switch functions. The On (closed) position is down, or closest to the printed
circuit board. The Off (open) position is up, or farthest from the printed circuit board. There is also a
toggle switch and pushbutton which are used to navigate the on screen menu. (See section 6)
5.1.
