Checking PC CPU's Operation
When an error has occurred within the PC CPU when an AD57G is started or
executing monitoring, the following occurs.
When started up: The display gives an error message and its corrective
action.
When monitoring: An error alarm is given or a message is given on theAD57G
systemlsystem alarm screen.
Follow the corrective procedure or read the User's Manual of the PC CPU to
eliminate the cause of the error.

Module Installation, Switch Settings, and ROM Installation of the AD57G
(1)
Installation of the AD57G module
The AD57G module must be installed securely to the base unit as
described in the PC CPU's User's Manual.
(2) Switch settings
Switch settings must be done according to the AD57G's User's Manual
(Hardware).
After completing switch settings, start up PC CPUs and AD57Gs.
The AD57G's RUN/STOP keyswitch and setup switches (SW5-[I) must
be set as follows:
(a) RUNISTOP keyswitch
Set the switch according to the mode.

Test mode

6 4 K WROM
If the type of ROM is different from switch setting, an error message
may be displayed when the AD57G is started or indefinite data may
be displayed or printed during monitoring.

Set the switch according to the type of the ROM to be installed to the
AD57G.
