AD57G MONITORING FUNCTIONS

(1)
Watchdog timer error-detected signal (X10)
(a) Goes ON when a watchdog timer error is detected using the AD57G
self-diagnosis function.
This signal is normally OFF.
(b) When X I 0 goes ON
The message "WDT ERROR" is highlighted on the screen
The RUN and MEMORY CARD LEDs on the AD57G go OFF.
Reset the AD57G using the AD57G RUNISTOP keyswitch.
(c) If X I 0 goes ON again after the AD57G is reset, the module must be
replaced due to faulty hardware.
(2)
AD57G preparation-completed signal (XI 1)
(a) Goes ON after the AD57G starts up and begins t o operate normally.
(This does not influence the setting of the RUNISTOP keyswitch.)
(b) Goes OFF when the AD57G enters a state in which operations are
disabled.
Reset the AD57G using the AD57G RUNISTOP keyswitch.
(c) If X1 1 goes OFF again after the AD57G is reset, the module must be
replaced because of a faulty hardware or defective software.
(3)
MEMORY CARDl battery error-detected signal (X13)
(a) Goes ON when a battery error is detected i n the memory card (RAM
type) installed in the MEMORY CARDl slot of the AD57G.
This signal is normally OFF.
(b)
When X1 3 goes ON
Replace the battery, or
Install the same battery correctly.
(4)
MEMORY CARD2 battery error-detected signal (X14)
(a) Goes ON when a battery error is detected in the memory card (RAM
type) installed in the MEMORY CARD2 slot of the AD57G.
This signal is normally OFF.
(b) When X I 4 goes ON, take the same measures as in (3)(b).
