Deleting a File i n the Memory Card File (File Format)

The file area of (RAM-type) memory cards installed in an AD57G are for-
matted by the following operations:
(1)
Conditions
(a) Only RAM-type memory cards can be formatted.
(b) If a memory card is used (formatted) for the first time, format the card
as shown in Section 5.3. (The formatting operation shown in this
section is not necessary).
Follow the instructions given in this section to format only the file
area of a memory card which has already been used.
(c) When this operation is completed, all data and files stored in the
memory card are deleted.
(2) AD57G RUNISTOP keyswitch operations
If, during memory card formatting, the RUNISTOP keyswitch of the
AD57G is set to RUN or KEY LOCK, the AD57G automatically enters the
monitoring state and starts (or restarts) the monitoring display.
