3. AD57G MONITORING FUNCTIONS

(5) AD57G error-detected signal (XI D)
Goes ON when an error occurs which does not stop the operations
of the AD57G.
This signal is normally OFF.
(b) When X I D goes ON, read the error code from the error code storage
area (address 0) of the AD57G buffer, and correct the error (see
Section 7).
Then, turn ON the AD57G error reset signal (Y2D). (See (7) below)
Turning ON Y2D turns OFF X1D.
(c) When the cause of the error has not been eliminated, X1D turns ON
even though X1D is turned OFF by a turn-ON of Y2D.

Operation panel LED ONIOFF signals (Y10 to Y1 F)
(a) Used for turning ON and OFF the LEDs on the operation panel
(
connected to the AD57G.
When a signal is turned ON: the corresponding LED goes ON.
When a signal is turned OFF: the corresponding LED goes OFF.
(b) Section 3.14 gives details about controlling these signals.
(7) AD57G error reset signal (Y2D)
(a) Used for turning OFF the AD57G error-detected signal.
(b) After correcting the error, turn ON Y2D.
Then, turn OFF Y2D after X I D goes OFF.
