Some embroidery designs with longer stitches may contain a jump between the needle penetrations
creating the stitch. If the Count to Convert number is less than or equal to the number of jumps
between these penetrations, the stitches themselves will become trims. This creates an odd machine
behavior where there is only a single needle penetration, followed by a trim. This repeats until the
 
jumps between the needle penetrations fall below the count.
If you encounter one of these designs, change the count, disable the conversion, or contact the
design supplier for explicit trims or edits.
Pull Compensation
This setting allows you to adjust the width of all satin stitches when they are being sewn. This can help
compensate for some pull of stitches.
The width of the satin stitches are adjusted by percentages and by points (0.1mm).
Percentage - the width of the satin stitches are multiplied by this value.

Points - the satin stitch width has this value added to each end of the stitch.

The values of 100% and 0 points will load the design unaltered.
·
These stitches can be altered along the X-axis (horizontal stitch direction) and along the Y-axis (vertical stitch
direction).
If locked together, X and Y will both be changed according to the value entered for X.

If unlocked, X and Y can be altered independently.

Minimum Width
A minimum width can be specified in points for satin stitches that fall below this value are expanded to meet
this width.
Minimum Width is used with the pull compensation above and the custom table below. Only a value of zero
leaves the design unaltered from this setting.
 
The diameter of most needles used for embroidery ranges between six and eight points.
