Audio Line Outputs
Analog Line Outputs
The analog Line Outputs connect the MediaPort 300 to local sound reinforcement systems
and can be configured as stereo or two mono outputs via PCS (see
page 46). The line output includes audio from USB host, HDMI, and Line In.
NOTE: Mic/Line input audio is not sent to the analog Line output.
USB Host Output
The USB Host Output carries all program and speech audio from the near end through the
USB port to the PC to be sent to the far end.
Application Setup Example
NOTE: Ensure the MediaPort 300 is set to Standalone audio mode in PCS before
This is an application for soft codec conferencing, in which the MediaPort 300 operates as a
standalone device.

Standalone MediaPort 300 for Soft Codec Conferencing
Connect an HDMI source to the HDMI input. Figure 49 above shows an HDMI video
camera as the input.
Connect a microphone to the Mic/Line 1 input.
Connect a program audio source to the Line 2 input as needed. Figure 49 shows an
iPod as the program audio input.
Connect the Line output to a sound reinforcement system.
Connect a USB cable between the USB type C connector and a USB type A connector
on the PC or Mac computer. Ensure the drivers are configured properly.
